A 3-month embodied writing mentorship with Alexandra Panic

the body writes

For you who feel a story in your body, and are ready to let it come through.

Your story is already written in your body. It speaks from the spasms in your chest, from the aches in your joints, from the held breath you don't remember holding.

You need to learn how to safely let it through.

In the body first.

Most writing programs teach you craft. Technique. Structure. How to build a character, how to write a scene, how to find your arc. And, yes, all those things matter — eventually.

But if you’ve lived through something yet unspeakable and stored trauma in your body, you know the problem is not your craft, nor the discipline. The problem is getting close enough to the story material without being terrified of it. The real process is about getting into the body where your story actually lives, rather than circling it from the safety of the mind.

That is what this work is for.

the 3 pillars

01 Embodied writing practice

Every session begins before the pen touches the page. We arrive in the body first — through breath, through sensation, through a moment of genuine presence. Then the writing prompt arrives, sourced from where you are in your life right now. You are not asked to perform or produce. You are invited to excavate.

02 Witnessing: reading & craft conversation

You read what you wrote aloud. I receive it — without rushing to critique or fix. Then we talk about what the writing is doing for our bodies, where the body is present on the page, and what wants to come forward that isn't there yet. Rigor and safety are not opposites here.

03 Finding your language

You already have tools that support you — your unique life practice, a hard-won understanding of how you survived. What you don't yet have is the language that holds it together. Language that could become teaching, a body of work, eventually perhaps a book. We start our search for your unique language from the very first session.

what the 3 months hold

every two weeks

Embodied writing session: 90 minutes. Somatic arrival, writing prompt, witness reading, craft conversation. Six sessions across three months.

monthly

Orientation session: 60 minutes. Where are you in the larger story you are living? We orient to the season of your life and the material. Sometimes we look at your birth chart. Writing seeds emerge from here.

at the close

Deep dive, extended session. We review what has accumulated — what emerged in the writing that was invisible at the start. We name where you have arrived.

between sessions…

You receive personalized writing invitations and voice notes. You can reach me by email for anything that doesn't need to wait.

this is how it feels when you free your story

this is for you if

— You have a story in your body that your mind has been trying to manage rather than tell

— You write journals, notes, fragments — but nothing ever feels finished or worthy of the name

— You have survived something you want to share with others, and you sense there is language for it you haven't found yet

— You are drawn to writing, but writing classes have never quite been the right container

— You already have a practice that supports you — yoga, astrology, tapping, therapy — and you're ready to add a creative layer to your practice

— You want to write not necessarily for publication but for integration

— You are open to wherever that leads

about alexandra

Alexandra Panic

I am a writer, writing teacher, yoga teacher, and astrologer.

I hold an MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College and a 500-hour yoga certification specializing in yin yoga and trauma-informed practice.

I have been teaching writing since 2016. I have been living in a body longer than that. The two are not separate for me — and that is the entire premise of this work.

I learned from my mentor that the first step is to write a story — and then make the art out of it. This mentorship is where the first part happens.
